Vacation

I just returned from Colorado and had a great hike near Independence Pass while there.  What a great reminder of how beautiful and rewarding a vacation can be!! It's hard to be stressed out high in the Rockies.  With the heady combination of altitude and exertion induced fatigue, I was reminded (again) of Norman MacLean.

Alone in the half light of the canyon, all existence seems to fade into a being with my soul and memories...  Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it.
